Author Guidelines

Authors who wish to submit manuscripts to LEX FUTURA: Bamara Research Center must adhere to the following guidelines:

1. General Requirements

• Manuscripts must be original, unpublished, and not under consideration for publication in other journals.
• Submissions can be in the form of research articles, conceptual papers, or comparative studies in the field of law.
• The manuscript must be written in English.
• Authors are responsible for the accuracy of the content and references.
• All submissions must be made through the journal’s online submission system.

2. Manuscript Structure

Manuscripts should be prepared in the following structure:

• Title: Concise and informative (maximum 15–20 words).
• Author(s) Information: Full name, affiliation, and email address.
• Abstract: Written in English, 150–250 words, clearly stating the purpose, method, and findings.
• Keywords: 3–5 relevant keywords.
• Introduction: Background, research problem, and objectives.
• Methodology: Research approach, data sources, and analysis methods.
• Results and Discussion: Findings and their interpretation.
• Conclusion: Summary of findings and implications.
• References: List of cited works.

3. Formatting Guidelines

• Manuscripts should be typed in Times New Roman, 12 pt, with 1.5 line spacing.
• Paper size: A4, with standard margins (2.5 cm on all sides).
• Length of manuscript: 5,000 – 8,000 words.
• Use justified alignment.
• Headings should be clearly structured and consistent.

4. Citation and References

• The journal uses APA Style (7th Edition) for citations and references.
• Authors are encouraged to use reference management tools such as Mendeley, Zotero, or EndNote.
• References should primarily come from recent and reputable sources (journals, books, proceedings).
• At least 80% of references should be from the last 10 years.

5. Plagiarism Policy

• All manuscripts will be checked using plagiarism detection software (Turnitin/Similar Check).
• The maximum similarity index is 20%, and no single source should exceed 5%.
• Manuscripts that do not meet this requirement will be rejected or returned for revision.

6. Submission Process

• Authors must register and submit manuscripts through the journal’s online system.
• The editorial team will conduct an initial screening.
• Suitable manuscripts will proceed to a double-blind peer-review process.
• Authors will be notified of the review results (accepted, revised, or rejected).

7. Article Processing Charge (APC)

• APC: IDR 500,000
• The fee is charged only after the manuscript has been accepted.
• There are no submission fees.

8. Copyright and Licensing

• Authors retain copyright of their work.
• Published articles will be available under an open access policy, allowing users to read, download, and distribute the content with proper citation
