Screening for Plagiarism Policy
LEX FUTURA: Bamara Research Center is committed to maintaining the highest standards of academic integrity and originality. All submitted manuscripts are subject to plagiarism screening before proceeding to the peer-review process.
The journal uses reliable plagiarism detection software such as Turnitin or Similarity Check to evaluate the level of text similarity in submitted manuscripts.
The following criteria are applied:
- The maximum similarity index is 20%
- Similarity from a single source must not exceed 5%
- Properly cited quotations, references, and bibliographies are excluded from plagiarism consideration
Manuscripts that exceed the acceptable similarity threshold will be:
- Returned to the authors for revision, or
- Rejected directly, depending on the severity of the similarity
If plagiarism is detected after publication, the journal reserves the right to take appropriate actions, including correction, retraction, or removal of the article in accordance with publication ethics standards.
Authors are strongly encouraged to ensure the originality of their work and to properly cite all sources prior to submission.
